The zonal coordinator, the national emergency management agency, minna operations office, Mr. Slaku Bijimi, has decried incessant fire disasters in the country. Bijimi spoke during the distribution of building materials and other relief items by NEMA to victims of the recent fire disaster at the Owode Market in Offa, Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State. Bijimi said, “NEMA is worried by the incessant fire outbreaks across the country. For the market’s reconstruction, we have cement, roofing sheet and nails. For the affected victims, we have food and non-food items. What we came with is worth millions of naira.
