The Chief Executive Officer, IO Furniture Limited, Mrs. Munira Shonibare, has said that there is a need to establish reputable arts and design institutions to boost growth in the furniture industry. “We don’t want keep copying foreign ideas but develop our own talents. The fashion and entertainment industries are thriving; so, we want to develop the design and furniture, while encourage young minds to also develop their skills,” she said.
