KOGI INVESTS $1.3M IN URBANISATION PROJECT
The
Kogi State Governor, Capt Idris Wada, has said that the state government has
paid $1.3m as its counterpart funds to the UN Habitat for an urbanization
Project in the state. He stated that the payment of the money underscored the
importance his administration attached to urbanization. Wada spoke through his
deputy, Mr. Yomi Awoniyi, in Dekina on Friday, at a forum for the state of kogi
structure Plans organized by the state government in conjunction the
UN-Habitat. According to him, the city structure plan for four cities in the
state is a document that will be made binging on successive administrations in
the state when backed up by legislation.
