NON-ENGINEERS CAUSE 90% OF BUILDING COLLAPSE – COREN

   

The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria has said that 90 per cent of building collapse across the country area caused by non-engineers. COREN said the unscrupulous activities of non-engineers had led to the loss of lives and property and must be address urgently by the Federal Government. The president of the council, Kashim Ali, stated that COREN had laid down protocols which its members must adhere to, adding that it was high time the government arrested and prosecuted offenders.
